VIANA
The large Viana sand ceramic plate is handcrafted in Portugal . The base material for this beautiful plate is a sedimentary rock found only in a small region of northern Portugal. The stone's slightly textured, natural roughness gives the plate its distinctive look. The Viana sand plate is lovingly and traditionally glazed by hand. Due to the handcrafted nature of the process, each piece is unique. Minor variations and imperfections in size, shape, and texture are common and emphasize its individual character. Enjoy your meal!

OUR FIRST PRODUCER
At the beginning of our project, we searched for suitable producers who met our requirements for quality and craftsmanship. Due to our personal connection to northern Portugal, we became aware of a regional company near our mother's hometown.
We were convinced by the regional focus, the long-standing tradition of the local business, and the open, uncomplicated communication. Our collaboration began with Mario, and with him, our idea also took root.
VIANA - TRADITIONAL PORTUGUESE
VIANA is our first tableware collection. Characteristic of the collection is its glaze: Made from regional clay sourced around the factory, the firing process develops the typical, finely speckled color and vibrant texture – making each piece unique.
The slightly curved rim not only gives the tableware a clean, calm shape, but also makes it particularly suitable for everyday use. Function and aesthetics naturally intertwine here.
The materials, manufacturing process, and design result in a high-quality collection that meets our quality standards in every respect. VIANA is durable, robust, and made for everyday use – bringing a small piece of Portuguese ceramic culture into your home.
EXPRESSION OF DESIGN
Tableware is more than just a functional object. It's an expression of taste and attitude, of design sensibility and appreciation for what accompanies us daily. Shape, material, and surface influence how we perceive food and how consciously we take the time to enjoy it.
In everyday life, tableware becomes the connecting element between design and food. It accompanies preparation, serving, and the moment of eating itself. It is precisely in this repetition that good design unfolds its quality: unobtrusive, reliable, and enduring.
Thus, the circle is complete. Taste is not only reflected in the food itself, but also in how it is presented. Tableware becomes a silent companion to conscious eating – functional in use, clear in design, and firmly anchored in daily life.
1. Avoid harsh sponges or abrasive cleaners: Use soft sponges or cloths to clean your dinnerware. Abrasive cleaners or scouring pads can damage the surface and cause scratches.
2. Treat stains immediately : If you notice stubborn stains on your dinnerware, don't let them dry. Treat them immediately with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
3. Take care when stacking: When stacking your dinnerware set, it is best to place a cloth or special foam pads between the individual pieces to avoid scratches.
4. Drying: Make sure the dishes are thoroughly dry before storing them. Moisture can lead to mold growth.
