The plate is produced in close collaboration with a small, family-run manufactory in central Portugal. There, traditional knowledge meets meticulous craftsmanship. Many steps are still carried out by hand, and each piece undergoes a final quality control check, ensuring that every piece retains its authentic character – the foundation for durable, distinctive ceramics.

In developing our AFETO collection, we set out to find a producer who could support us not only in manufacturing but also in the development and design of the collection.
After many conversations with various manufacturers, we finally found a partner who shares our idea, our values, and our commitment to quality and design.
Together, we created the AFETO collection – crafted by hand using traditional methods, with extensive experience, care, and a deep understanding of ceramic craftsmanship.
Timeless - warm - close
The AFETO collection represents a design that is intentionally calm and timeless. Clear shapes and balanced proportions ensure that the tableware endures beyond trends and seamlessly integrates into everyday life.
AFETO stands for closeness. For the small moments of everyday life – a shared breakfast, dinner with friends, or a quick cup of coffee. The tableware accompanies these moments discreetly, becoming a familiar part of daily life.
The Afeto Colour World
The color palette of the AFETO collection is deliberately kept calm and natural. It is inspired by earthy tones and creates a warm, harmonious atmosphere on the table.
Off-white forms the serene base of the collection. The light, slightly broken tone appears soft and natural.
Red-brown brings warmth and depth to the collection. The earthy tone evokes fired clay and emphasizes the artisanal character of the stoneware.
Taupe blends harmoniously into various table arrangements and can be versatilely combined with the other colors in the collection.

What's the best way to care for my dishes?
1. Avoid harsh sponges or abrasive cleaners: Use soft sponges or cloths to clean your dinnerware set. Abrasive cleaners or scouring pads can damage the surface and cause scratches.
